Principles of Slimming

Healthy Diet & weight management  programmes in South East England and South Wales

At Albany Medical Centre, we can design healthy diets and suggest a few exercises that will help you reduce your weight and stay fit.

Why are we putting on weight?

The reason for which many people put on excess weight is that they eat more than their bodies require and tend to over-indulge often.
To lose weight, you need to eat and drink fewer calories than you burn. That's called a calorie deficit. If you take in more than calories than you burn, then you don't have a calorie deficit and you won't lose weight. There are two ways to raise your calorie deficit: changing what and how much you eat and drink , and regular  exercise.

Breaking old habits is difficult, but we are here to help you with every step!

Perseverance is key

Everyone hates the word 'dieting', but it actually doesn't have to be that bad. With our support and appetite controlling  medication and a sensible eating  routine will make your  dieting journey easier.

Remember that you will only see results if you stick to the diet.
